1. Meeting with Teaching faculty (19th June, 2019)
Highlights of the Meeting - Planning of academic activities-calendar of events of 2019-20,Status report of the Admissions of BA/BCOM, Departmental Syllabi, Results declaration, Celebrations of International Days, Scheduling of meetings with Honourable President and Honourable Secretary, Scheduling of Students’ Elections for the students’ academy, organizing TQM Orientation programme for First year BA/BCOM and scheduling of meetings with SC/ST students and meeting with Hostel wards. The meeting was headed by the Principal, conducted by the Coordinators, participated in the discussion by HODs, SWO, Sports Director, Librarian and Guest Faculty.

2. Meeting with the Honourable President of the Management (SBVVS) 7th July
Highlights of the Meeting - Meeting with the Honourable President of the Management (Sharanabasveshwar Vidya Vardhak Sangha) was held on 7th July,2017 to discuss the academic progress made in the preceding year, plan for the current year, overall affairs of the institution, To start B.Ed Integrated Course and B. Sc science stream under the present established college, to propose to organize International/ National Seminars/Conferences in collaboration with the affiliating university or any other agency, Results of the college, Admissions and Sports department activities, New pedagogical methods of teaching, Swachha Bharath Abhiyan activities, skill development, faculty development or orientation/ Training programmes for the teachers, non-teaching and students and discussion of academic excellences. The meeting was conducted by the Principal and IQAC Coordinator, attended by HODs, Teaching members, Non-teaching Staff and Guest faculty.

3. Meeting with the Honourable Secretary of the Sangha (21st July)
Highlights of the Meeting – Discuss on- celebrations of important Days like-International Yoga, Music Day C. A. Day etc.; deputing teaching and non-teaching faculty for training ,FDPs etc,; activities to be undertaken under Sports Dept. like- coaching for students ,deputing students for external participation and organizing Intercollegiate Tournaments; conducting special lectures by expertise to resource students with immense global learning, to organize departmental workshops,36th Punyasmarnotsva of Param Poojya Doddappa Appa for Five Days, International seminar/ conference for the Dept. Of Music and other departments; to organize workshops under Women Study Centre, one week programme of 49th Punyasmarontsva of Godutai ;National Seminar on Painting Demonstration and lectures by renowned artists; programmes for Folklore Study Centre ;Discuss on the meetings to be held under IQAC-hostel wards meeting, SC/ST meeting, Alumni meet and Parents-Teacher Meet; Discuss on the visit of Inspection Commission from Akkamahadevi Women’s University; Discuss on teachers participation in conferences/ seminars for paper presentations and students’ participation in different external activities. The meeting was conducted by the Principal, and IQAC Coordinators, participated by Students’ Advisers, SWO, and Sports Director, attended by HODs, Teaching members, Non-teaching Staff and Guest faculty.

4. Meetings with the Hostel wards (17th July)
Highlights of the Meeting – a meeting with the hostel girls was held to discuss their issues like: continuances of focused discussion on Cleanliness, provision of Nutritional Food, Power and Water Supply, safeguarding health issues, Doctors Visit, Parents and relatives visit to the campus, sports and games facilities, Security facilities, and availability of Reference Books.

The members present in the meeting were: Principal, IQAC/NAAC Coordinators, Hostel Wardens, Students Welfare Officer, Sports Director, Students Adviser of Students’ Academy and Office bearers of the college.

5. Meetings with the Alumni (27th July)
Highlights of the Meeting – a meeting convened with the Alumni Committee Members on 27-07- 2019 to discuss and to chalk out programmes and activities to be undertaken by Alumni association and to verify the contributions made by them. The meeting was conducted by the Principal, and IQAC Coordinators, participated by Students’ Advisers, SWO, and Sports Director, attended by HODs, Teaching members, Non-teaching Staff.

6. Meeting with SC/ST students (13th August)
Highlights of the Meeting – on 13th August ,2019 a meeting with SC/ST students was convened to discuss the scholarships schemes relating to their merit and other scholarships like government as well as non-government- for SC/ST/OBC/BCM/Minorities, Sanchi Honnamma, Physically handicapped, & Military scholarships and Freeships, the procedures of applying online, deadline dates and updating of beneficiary student. The meeting was headed by the Principal and conducted by the IQAC Coordinators, attended by Students’ Advisers, SWO, and Sports Director, Non-teaching Staff.

7. Meetings with Students – (July, August, September & October)
Highlights of the Meeting – meetings held on 4th July& 2nd August discussion on scheduling of date of students’ Election for students’ academy, Formation of Students’ Academy, portfolios allotment to elected students; discussion on activities to be undertaken-TQM for First year students of BA& BCOM-Fresher’s Day by the students; Syllabus portions verification and checking.

Students Meeting held on 31st August to discuss Parents- Teacher Meet, scheduling of First Internal Assessment test from 23 rd to 25th August, Verification of syllabus coverage, issue of library books and checking of availability of books and reference resources in the library, reporting of students’ participation in various activities and presenting words of appreciation to boost for more participation.

Students Meeting held on 3rd September to hold discussion on the activities for the events of Ganesh Chathurti, Teacher’s Day, competitions, workshops, exhibitions, on the eve of 36th Punyasmarnotsva of Founder President of SBVV Sangha, Poojya Doddappa Appa, scheduling of Parents Teacher Meet.

Students Meeting held on 15th September to discuss on NSS Regular activities and NSS Foundation Day celebrations, events and programmes to chalk out for the 150 th Jayanthi of Gandhi and scheduling the dates for second Internal Assessment Test from 4th to 6th Oct, 2019.

Students Meeting held on 10th October, to deliberate upon the verification of completion of syllabi, revisions, tests performance, and submission of assignments, Counselling sessions by SWO and highlights of students participation in NCC camps, Youth fest- YUVAGONTSVA – cultural- sports- literary events and words of appreciation shared. The meeting was headed by the Principal, Dr Neelambika Sherikar ,Conducted by IQAC Coordinators, Savitri S J, Dr, Indira S, attended and participated by SWO Dr. Shantala Nisty, Students’ Advisors Janaki Hosur & Dr. Seema Patil, HODs Dr. Siddamma Guded, Dr. Puttamani , Revayya V, Dr. N. S Hugar and Guest faculty.

8. Meeting of Teacher- Parents (10th October)
Highlights of the Meeting – meeting convened on 10-10 2019 with Parents to discuss on the issues of their wards , to suggest and give opinions for further improvements, and the college scheduled Free Eye check up camp for parents as well as students. The meeting was headed by the Principal and Parents, conducted by IQAC Coordinator, SWO, Students’ Advisers, Sports Director, attended by Librarian, Office Bearers.

9. Meetings with the Students- During the month of December January, February, March & April 2020
Highlights of the Meeting – The meeting was held on 22nd Dec,2019 to hold discussion on the academic activities to be undertaken-like seminars, workshops, special lectures by expertise of the departments, under Sports , the events of Karate Coaching and Inter-collegiate Karate Selection Trials discussed.

Meeting held on 4th Jan,2020 with the students to discuss about the Inter- university Karate competition to be held from 8th to 10 th Jan, 2020 at Sathyabhama University Chennai; Eye Check Up event organized for the students under Women Study Centre, Teaching and non-teaching, conducted by the Anugraha Eye Hospital; Scheduling of Internal Assessment test in the month of February 28th to 1st March 2020 and last week of March; Verification of syllabus coverage, issue of library books and checking of availability of books and reference resources in the library, Checking Students’ library visits and using books and references.

Students’ Meeting held on 31st Jan,2020 to deliberate upon the Scheduling of General Knowledge Test; Students’ participation in various curricular and extra- curricular activities like Mock Parliament for debate, group discussion and speech ;All India Inter-university Pencak Silat tournament held at Gulbarga University; Election Commission Foundation Day celebration and National Voter Day celebrations; Counselling by Senior teachers about their study, attendance, use of library books and need of active participation to develop and advance in learning process and advised to work towards creating and maintaining cleanliness, healthy and hygienic atmosphere in the college campus were reflected. The meeting was headed by the Principal, Dr Neelambika Sherikar ,Conducted by IQAC Coordinators, Savitri S J, Dr, Indira S, attended and participated by SWO Dr. Shantala Nisty, Students’ Advisors Janaki Hosur & Dr. Seema Patil, HODs Dr. Siddamma Guded, Dr. Puttamani , Revayya V, Dr. N. 10. Meeting with teaching faculty (2nd & 4th January)
Highlights of the Meeting – discussion on students academic performances of the semester; Programmes of students workshops, seminars and special lectures, activities under MOUs & Linkages, field visits-business organizations/marketing centres, students’ participation in Training/coaching,cultural,literary & sports, art exhibitions, art galleries and landscape painting; Teachers participation in the National/International Seminars/ Conferences for paper presentations, as Chair persons/resource persons; participating in BOS/ BOAE meetings & Evaluation duties ;Scheduling of National Seminar/ International seminars for the Fine Art, Music & Political Science. The meeting was headed by the principal, conducted by the Coordinators, participated in the discussion by HODs,SWO, Sports Director, Librarian, and Guest Faculty.

11. Highlights of the Meeting – The second round of meeting was held on 4th January, 2020 to deliberate upon the Revised Assessment and Accreditation Framework of AQAR & SSR which is data based quantitative indicator evaluation, three level accreditation processes- more ICT enabled with student Satisfaction Survey and Data Verification and Validation; introducing system generated score with combination of online evaluation about 70%& peer judgement about 30%; and submission process; Criterion-wise allotment to the faculties by forming a team of members committee with a coordinator; update and streamline to the NAAC/IQAC coordinators. The meeting was headed by the Principal, conducted by the Coordinators, participated in the discussion by HODs, SWO, Sports Director, Librarian and Guest Faculty.

12. Meeting about AISHE- DCF-II (8th January)
Highlights of the Meeting – meeting held on 08-01-2020 to discuss about DCF-II & TIF format of AISHE. The Data required for the Academic year 2019-20 to submit to MHRD’s AISHE portal like-TIF, Students Admission details both UG & PG Courses, Results of Final year, Financial information- scholarships, Infrastructural details, Library- learning resources and accredited status of the Institution, to be uploaded well in advance of the deadline and also to submit hardcopy of the DCF-II to the CDC, Akkamahadevi Women’s University, Vijayapur. Accordingly, the completed and verified data format was uploaded on AISHE Portal on 17th January; 2020.The meeting was headed by the Principal, Dr. Neelambika Sherikar, conducted by the IQAC coordinators, Savitri S. Jambaldinni, Dr. Indira Shetkar, Iranna Swadi, Vidya Reshmi, Ashok Mulge, Vinod Halkatti, Appasab Biradar and Librarian, Shashikala Para.

13. IQAC Meetings 9th Jan 2020 onwards
The meeting was convened to discuss the program of ” Ayushman Bharat Arogya Karnataka” under Health Centre of an college. Principal Called the at 3.00 pm in the Chamber. Regarding Health Insurance – ” Universal Health Coverage and State Govt. faculty organised Health Plan.

Health Card (Free) health chock up for 5 years specially for BPL, Toll Free No : 104/1800 425 8330 9 ( Contact) upto the amount 1.5 lakh per annum for all citizes upto 5 lakhs per annum for BPL Card holders. Students parents and faculty were given cards during 10 days program. The Program was inaugurated by Dr. Rajput -HOD Electronics, Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women’s University, Vijayapur.

14. The meeting was convened to program ” International Seminar by Music Dept. on 19th Jan 2020.

A meeting was convened by Principal with faculty members to discuss 2 days workship scheduled on 17th and 18th Jan 2020. The Topic ” Business Intelligence Organisation ” by Dept of Commerce under ” National B- Plan Championship” (Partner with echoes 2K19-20 II-M Kozhikode Event. Resource Person – Mr. Kushal Sharma – M.D. Prushal Technology Private that India & Business Analytics Trainer NASSCOM foundation India.

This meeting was convened to discuss seminar to be organised by dept of Political Science on 28th Jan 2020. One Day International Seminar. Topic : Indian Religion and Policy . Resource Person : Mr. Xavier, Industrialist Garbage, Barcelona, Spain.

This meeting was called for to discuss and decide the joint collebration of an college with Sharnbasva University for 2 Days ” Vishwa Kannada Sahitya Sammelan to be held on 31st Jan 2020 and Ist Feb 2020, Inaugurator : Shri Veerappa Maily, Former CM , Govt. of Karnataka, Bengalore. Session I – Dr. Jagannath Hebbale – Director Kannada PG Centre, Bidar. Topic : “Conservation and Protection of Folk Arts”

Session II – Dr. Kalyan Rao Patil – Associate Professor Dept of Kannada Govt. Degree Autonomous College, Kalaburagi. Topic : Folk Literature on Shri Sharanabasaveshwar . Dr.Venkatgiri Dalvai Associate Professor Dept. of Kannada, Kannada University Hampi. Topic : Epics of Folk Literature . Meeting with faculty about NAAC Criteria Distribution. Principal convened a meeting with faculty to distribute the criteria of NAAC

15. Meeting
Meeting was convened by Principal with faculty to discuss One Day National Seminar on Painting Demonstration on 16Feb 2020 by Dept of FA.

It was decided to invite

Principal Convened a meeting for full time and Guest faculty to discuss and finalise 1 week Program to celebrate Matoshree Godutai Awwaji’s 49th Punnyasmranotsva which includes (18 &19) – 2 Days National Seminar. On ” Women Empowerment : Challenge and Responsibilities”

16. Meeting with Faculty
Shri meeting was convened by Principal to chalk out the Program activities for the 5- Days state level workshop from 27th, 28th 29th Feb & 1st & 2nd March 2020.

17. Meeting with Faculty
This meeting was convened by Principal with faculty members to chalk out two Program to celebrate women’s Day on 8th March 2020 under the auspices of ‘Women Cell’ Chief Guest- Dr. Umadevi Deshmukh Govt. Medical College, Bidar.

5th March 2020 – Women’s Day Celebratioin under the joint auspicies of Information and Braodcasting, Govt. of Karnataka.

18. Meeting with Faculty
Due to COVID-19 it was planned to distribute masks. So, a meeting was called for by the Principal with the faculty to discuss and distribute masks to the Students appearing fro PUC Exam and nearby labours and pilgrims who came to Sharanbasveshwar Jatra.

Faculty agreed to contribute for the stitching of masks. Both teaching and non-teaching and guest faculty contributed.

19. Meeting held Telephonically
As there was dire need of food, water to needy people during the crucial period of the spread of COVID-19, the principal, faculty (Teaching, non-teaching and Guest) planned to get food cooked and distributed.

All the members reading agreed to the plan and it was decided to distribute the food from 4th April 2020 to 4th May 2020. Chapatis Bhaji, Rice, dal and water.

20. Meeting held Telephonically
The Principal called all the faculty members to plan discuss and program faculty development program from 2nd May 2020 to 6th May 2020 and 10th-14 May 2020.
The following were Selected as Resource person and Guest, Smt. Janaki Hosur and Dr.Seema Patil were made prog co-ordinators, IQAC Co-ordinator Dr.Indira Shetkar as the organiser were asked to prepare invited Registration e-form and feedback e-form. They were asked to contact the Resource Person, Guest and prepare brochures.

21. Online Meeting with Top Management
2nd May 2020 at 6.45 PM
‘ Sharnbasveshwar Vidya Vardhak Sangha ” Whatsapp Group” was created on 29th April 2020 in view of meetings, discussion, announcememnts information to be conveyed during the Lock down period due to the spread of COVID-19.

By the advice of our Honourable Secretary and Member of Board of Governer Sri Basavaraj Deshmukh in order to bring all the heads of the institution of our Sangha, HODs of various departments of the insitutions of the sangha, some senior staff members on a common digital official platform. All of them were asked to download a digital platform for online meeting through Web Ex from Cisco. The link would be shared the Whatsapp Group as and when the meeting would be scheduled as per the direction of our Honourable President Poojya Dr.Appaji.

22. 2nd Online Meeting with Top Management 10th May 2020-11-21
The 2nd program Review online meeting :
Joint on line meeting of Sharnbasva University and all the Educational Institutions of our Sharnbasaveshwar Vidya Vardhak Sangha, was convened as 10th May 2020 at 7 pm via video conferencing.

The Govt. of Karnataka through Hon. ACS, Dr. Rajkumar Khatriji, Dept of Higher Education, seeking views and opinios from the Vice-Chancellor of all Universities In Karnataka State pertaining to change in the field of education (primary to PG) Post COVID-19.

Hon’ble president Poojya Dr. Appaji, Chairman Poojya Awwaji, Hon’ble Secretary of Sharnbasveshwar Vidya Varhak Sangha, Sri Basavaraj Deshmukh, Vice-Chancellor of SUK, Registrars, HODs and Principals and few office members, Pro-Vice Chancellor Participated in this meeting.

23. Meeting with Faculty
To discuss conducting motivational speech online with Mr.Nivedan Nimpe, The creator of Araca Tea from Shivamogga, Karnataka (Village Mandagadd) He completed higher education at the Sharnbasva University of Technology. His jobs as a business Development Consultant took him (for higher studies) across Australia, New Zealand, Hong-Kong, Bangkok and Singapore.

Started a company ‘ Mystic Aromatics’ in 2013 of manufactured recycled paper air freshers along with agricultural product development (in his own town).

It was decided to organise this Motivational Speech on 19th May 2020 Tuesday from 5.00 pm to 6.00pm. Sri Siddu Patil was given in-charge of containing and arranging this program. Principal would be chairperson and vote of thanks by Dr.Indira Shetkar.
